We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to offer this fantastic photographical account of the day Hailwood rode the V7 Sport. Glauco Bonetti was a professional and award-winning photographer from Milan, and was sent one day in 1971 to photograph what would become a legendary occasion – Mike Hailwood riding and testing the then new Moto Guzzi V7 Sport at Monza. Present were the famous Guzzi staff of the time, including Lino Tonti, who designed, the V7 Sport, Bruno Scola, racers Mandracci, Gazzola and Brambilla, the journalist and racer Roberto Patrignani, and other technical staff.

This simple book is published using the original black and white negatives which are now owned by the Manusardi Motopix Milano archive, which now owns Bonetti’s work. The book has 20 pages and is in portrait form, and the photos are wonderful – informal, detailed and historic. Hailwood in his leather shoes, chatting to Tonti, posing with the other racers, the V7 Sport being unceremoniously hauled out of the back of a van. Some of these photos haven’t been seen before.

This is a must if you’re a Moto Guzzi ‘appassionato’ – BUT – we have just 6 copies only for now, so be quick!

US Letter size, 20 pages – very slightly stiffer cover, measures 280mm (H) x 216mm (W)

SHIPPING: Airmail or UK First Class shipping to wherever you are is included in the price.
